Infinite Scribe

Infinite Scribe is a narrative-driven role-playing game developed by Bunnyhug Studios that utilizes generative technology to facilitate dynamic, player-led storytelling. Unlike traditional interactive fiction with fixed branching paths, the title employs a real-time storytelling engine that reacts to player input to generate evolving plots, high-quality audio narration, and custom-styled chapter illustrations.

The gameplay is centered on a skill-based RPG system. Rather than providing guaranteed outcomes for player choices, the game evaluates specific odds and performs "dice rolls" against the player character’s attributes, which include health, stamina, skills, and weaknesses. A persistent inventory and condition system tracks the character’s state, while non-player characters (NPCs) maintain memory of past interactions and develop alongside the story.

Narrative pacing is managed by a tension system that adjusts the flow of the story based on player progression. The game features over 35 distinct genre settings and provides a conversational interface for users to define their own custom universes. Additional features include a persistent history of all chapters, an achievement system, and selectable visual art styles for generated imagery.
